Community Services Unit
The Community Services Unit of the Moose
Jaw Police Service is comprised of one Constable and one Corporal. We
work with our community partners in business, service groups, schools,
youth and government to prevent crime and disorder as an alternative
to authoritative repression and severe legal punishment. We wish to
maintain, at all times, a relationship with our community that
reinforces the historic tradition that the police are the public and
the public are the police. The police, being members of the public
themselves, are paid to give full-time attention to duties which are
incumbent on every citizen, in the interest of community welfare and
existence.

We work in harmony with the community
to identify high-risk
issues followed by a
problem solving approach to focus on the
cause.
We can achieve the observance of law by
securing and maintaining a positive
relationship
of respect, approval and cooperation with the
public.
Together, we can prevent crime and disorder.
